Happy to share a new track, “Iris,” which is out today on Dekmantel Records, with an EP of the same name due for release on October 17th.

“Iris” is much like my other titles I see them as names which also pass as plant names. To me my tracks are like little babies that I put to the world, I spend so much time with them and one day I have to let them out in the world and let them live their own life, hence track names that are like names of people, but also plant names. 

“Iris” is an explosion of happiness and sound-humour to me. Synths trying to sound like different bodily sounds. Me trying to sing in the background fitting into the electronic soundscape. It also features a lot of ’90s sounds like chord stabs and DJ type sampling that I made thinking of my period breakdancing back in high school.
